Circunstancias: | Some of the Filipino crew have not been paid since April. Some of the crew¿s employment contracts have expired, others have been taken off by the management company in Korea. Crew are required to work in excess of 14 hours/day and owners have refused to give crew members shore passes so they are unable to make complaints about their treatment. In effect these crew are abandoned into slavery. |

Acciones tomadas: | 11 Diciembre 2007: Other Several ITF inspectors in Japan and Korea have been involved. Though they negotiated with the owner he refused to pay outstanding wages and to repatriate the crew. Reports have been made to the port authority, immigration office, PSC and Coast Guard but none have been able to resolve the situation. The Philippines and Indonesian Embassies in Tokyo have also been informed.
