Comments and Observations: | ITF (6 November 2006) Crew are surviving on rice and lentils, last supply was 2 weeks ago when the owners sent $1500 of which $400 was spent for boat hire. No fresh water on board. No more diesel oil for the generators ¿ daily black out. Ship at anchor for 1.5 months. Crew are desperate to go home, EC expired. 3 Crew are sick, one of them (2nd Engr) was recently rush to the hospital due to malaria. Crew are paying for the cost.
ITF (18 December 2006) Wage claim has now been satisfactorily settled and crew have all been repatriated to India. This case considered resolved.
