Circumstances: | Crew members contacted ISWAN on 29 January 2019 they alleged that they have not been paid their wages for 3 months. They also said that they are in short supply of food, water and fuel. All 4 Pakistani seafarers have been taken ashore recently through the initiative of the Pakistani Consulate and they are currently staying at the Stella Maris Seafarer Centre in Cotonou. 5 seafarers are still on-board in short supply of food, water and fuel. |

Actions taken: | 19 March 2019: Other ISWAN and Stella Maris in Cotonou dealing with the welfare aspect of the case. ITF and the Consulate of Pakistan also involved.

Comments and Observations: | Govt. of Panama (31 December 2020) This case was reported by Hamani Amadou - ITF on February 26, 2019. The vessel is anchored in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, Africa. Through Email dated July 9, 2019, Mr. Luis de Lima - ITF indicated that they made contact with the crew, and two (2) crew members of Philippine nationality remained on board, who refused to be repatriated.
Govt. of Panama (14 July 2021) From Panama Maritime Authority June 14 2021. The ITF inspector, Eric White, informed this department that the two crew members who remained on the ship have been repatriated, but there is no record of the payment of their salaries.
