ITF (23 April 2018) Dear Sunil D’Souza
Many thanks for your email. I’m happy to confirm to the administrators of the database that the P&I club has fulfilled its obligations in relation to the liability for repatriation and 4 months outstanding wages. Am I correct to understand that there is an ongoing court case for the rest of the outstanding remuneration due to the crew?
Kind regards
Katie Higginbottom
ITF (25 April 2018) Subject: RE: TOP Urgent PFS Brave, PFS Courage, PFS Supplier
Dear Sunil Thanks for the confirmation. I will advise the ILO and IMO accordingly. This means the cases will be marked as ‘disputed’ which is the term given when the seafarers have been repatriated but full remuneration has yet be recovered. Once the outstanding payment is received by the crew it can be deemed ‘resolved’. Best, Katie
