Comments and Observations:Govt. of Palau (22 July 2024)
Regarding the case of M/V SERAFINA (9017630), kindly note the below last update.

Upon receiving the PSC detention information from the Port State Control authorities of Israel on 11.07.2024, the Palau Flag Administration immediately contacted the ship managers and the ship's RO, requesting the prompt and effective rectification of the PSC deficiencies and the necessary RO attendance for proper verification of these rectifications.

Additionally, the ship managers have requested that, after the ship is released by the PSC, she be allowed to proceed on a single voyage from Haifa, Israel, to a shipyard in Yalova, Turkey, for repairs and further maintenance.

Based on the information received yesterday, the Port State Control reattended the ship and released her from detention.

Today, we also received confirmation from the ship managers regarding the settlement of wages for the crew of M/V SERAFINA, as per the attached documentation.

ITF (12 September 2024)
All deficiencies identified by PSC have been rectified.
