The Government indicates in its report to the ILO received 1 September 2014 that, in accordance with the Agreement governing the delegation of Statutory Certification services for vessels registered in the Republic of Latvia between Maritme Administration of Latvia and relevant Recognized Organization (RO), the RO is authorized to carry out the relevant control functions (surveys, audits, issue of certificates, approval of documentation) in accordance with requirements of Maritime labour convention, 2006.
