Article 2(1) of the Convention. Sanctions for non-payment of the national minimum wage. In reply to its previous comments concerning the level of the monetary fine provided for in section C23(1) of the Labour Code (Cap. 27), the Committee notes the Government’s indication in its report that no amendments had yet been adopted in this regard. The Committee requests the Government to indicate the measures adopted or envisaged to ensure that the monetary sanctions for the non-payment of the national minimum wage are effective and dissuasive.

Article 4(1). Review of the minimum wage. The Committee notes that in reply to its previous comments on this matter, the Government indicates that the national minimum wage was last readjusted in January 2015.
