Repetition Part II of the Convention. Progressive abolition of fee-charging employment agencies. The Government indicates that the new Labour Code, promulgated in 2010, regulates private employment agencies in its Chapter 3. By Order No. 20 of 2010, the activities of the private employment agencies were further regulated. The Government also indicates that the ratification of the Private Employment Agencies Convention, 1997 (No. 181), was approved in a consultative body. The Committee refers to its 2010 direct request and recalls that the current situation is not in conformity with the requirements of Part II of Convention No. 96. It expresses again its hope that the Government will soon be in a position to ratify Convention No. 181.
