Pursuant to Article 8 of the Law on Safe Navigation of the Republic of Lithuania, companies recognised by the European Commission and included into the list of recognised organisations can be authorised to conduct surveys and issue certificates on behalf of the Republic of Lithuania. The Lithuanian Maritime Safety Administration lists on its website the following recognised organisations:
