1. 19. The Committee last examined this case at its June 2021 meeting. On that occasion, it indicated that it expected the Government to inform it without delay of the outcome of the application for judicial review that had been lodged in August 2012 by the employer of Mr Mourad Tchikou (Vice-President of the National Union of Civil Protection – SNAPAP) in respect of the decision to lift Mr Tchikou’s suspension [see 395th Report, June 2021, para. 18.] In its communication dated 19 May 2022, the Government indicated that the Supreme Court had ruled in favour of Mr Tchikou, but that he had not subsequently approached his employer concerning the execution of the judgment.
