The Committee notes the information provided by the Government, which answers the points raised in its previous direct request and has no further matters to raise in this regard.

Direct Request (CEACR) - adopted 2014, published 104th ILC session (2015)

Article 1 of the Convention. Protection of workers’ representatives against anti-union discrimination. The Committee notes the information provided by the Government in reply to its previous request. The Committee requests the Government to communicate, in one of the working languages of the ILO, the text of the specific provisions in the relevant national laws and regulations establishing sanctions and remedies in cases of anti-union dismissals or other acts of anti-union discrimination against workers’ representatives in the private sector.

Direct Request (CEACR) - adopted 2011, published 101st ILC session (2012)

The Committee notes the Government’s first report. The Committee further notes the comments submitted by the Trade Union Confederation of the Slovak Republic (KOZ SR) on 26 August 2011 on the application of the Convention.
Article 1 of the Convention. Protection of workers’ representatives against anti-union discrimination. The Committee notes that, according to the Government, Act No. 400/2009 Coll. on the Civil Service affords protection against anti-union discrimination to workers’ representatives in the civil service. The Committee requests the Government to transmit a copy of the specific provisions protecting trade union representatives against anti-union discrimination in the civil service, and information on the applicable sanctions.
