Direct Request (CEACR) - adopted 2022, published 111st ILC session (2023)

Articles 1 and 5 of the Convention. Promotion of collective bargaining in the different branches of economic activity. The Committee requests the Government to provide updated information on the practice of collective bargaining both in the private sector and in the public administration.

The Committee notes the information provided by the Government, which answers the points raised in its previous direct request and has no further matters to raise in this regard.

The Committee notes that a legislative reform regarding freedom of association and collective bargaining is under preparation. Recalling that the Government can avail itself of the technical assistance of the Office, the Committee requests the Government to provide any information on the development of its legislation and on the application of the Convention in practice.
