Replies received to the issues raised in a direct request which do not give rise to further comments (CEACR) - adopted 2018, published 108th ILC session (2019)

The Committee notes the information provided by the Government, which answers the points raised in its previous direct request, and has no further matters to raise in this regard.

Direct Request (CEACR) - adopted 2012, published 102nd ILC session (2013)

The Committee takes note of the Government’s report. In order to better assess how Conventions Nos 12 and 19 are applied in practice, the Committee requests the Government to provide additional information in its next report on:

• -mechanisms for the notification of occupational accidents, including in agriculture;
• -the work of the labour inspection services in relation to the investigation of occupational accidents, including in agriculture;
• -the number of occupational accidents registered in the country according to branch of activity;
• -the amount of cash benefits paid in relation to such accidents, including to victims residing abroad; and
• -the number and nationality of foreign workers employed in Gabon.
