Submission to the Senate of the Republic. The Committee welcomes the information provided by the Government in response to its previous comments, including relevant attachment. It notes from the information transmitted that the Transition from the Informal to the Formal Economy Recommendation, 2015 (No. 204), adopted at the 104th Session of the Conference, was submitted to the Senate of the Republic on 26 January 2017. Subsequently, the Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930, adopted at the 103rd Session of the Conference, was submitted on 21 February 2021. On 5 October 2022, the following instruments were submitted to the Senate of the Republic: the Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Recommendation, 2006 (197), adopted by the Conference at its 95th Session, the Work in Fishing Recommendation, 2007 (No. 199), adopted by the Conference at its 96th Session, the Domestic Workers Recommendation, 2011 (No. 201), adopted by the Conference at its 100th Session, and the Forced Labour (Supplementary Measures) Recommendation, 2014 (No. 203), adopted by the Conference at its 103rd Session. In addition, on 23 February 2022, the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190) and its Recommendation (No. 206), 2019, adopted by the Conference at its 108th Session, were submitted to the Senate of the Republic. The Committee notes the information provided by the Government with respect to tripartite consultations held on 14 July 2022 in relation to the Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 2006 (No. 187), adopted by the Conference at its 95th Session. The Committee nevertheless notes that the Government has not provided information with respect to the submission to the Senate of the Republic of Convention No. 187, or the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 (No. 188). The Committee therefore reiterates its request that the Government provide information on the submission to the Senate of the Republic of the two instruments adopted at the 95th and 96th Sessions of the Conference.

Consultations. The Committee notes with interest the ratification by Mexico of the Protocol of 2014 to the Forced Labour Convention, 1930, on 11 June 2023. It requests the Government to provide information on tripartite consultations held prior to the ratification of the Protocol, as required under the Tripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976 (No. 144).
