Argentina

Submission. The Committee notes with interest the ratification of the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190) by Argentina on 23 February 2021. The Committee notes that the Government has not, however, provided a reply to its previous direct requests. In this context, it recalls that the constitutional obligation of submission is of the highest importance and is a fundamental element of the standards system of the ILO. The Committee therefore once again reiterates its request that the Government provide information on the submission to the National Congress of the Seafarers’ Identity Documents Convention (Revised), 2003 (No. 185), adopted by the Conference at its 91st Session, the Transition from the Informal to the Formal Economy Recommendation, 2015 (No. 204), adopted by the Conference at its 104th Session, the Employment and Decent Work for Peace and Resilience Recommendation, 2017 (No. 205), adopted by the Conference at its 106th Session, and the Violence and Harassment Recommendation, 2019 (No. 206), adopted by the Conference at its 108th Session.
