White Lead (Painting) Convention, 1921 (No. 13) - Mali (Ratification: 1960)

Article 7 of the Convention. Statistics on morbidity and mortality due to lead poisoning. Application of the Convention in practice. The Committee notes that the Government requested technical assistance from the ILO to conduct a survey on mapping the risk related to the use of lead and its derivatives and on the prevalence of lead poisoning in Mali. It once again hopes that the Government will take the necessary measures to ensure the collection of data required by Article 7 of the Convention and provide information to that effect. In the meantime, it requests the Government to provide any available information on lead-related diseases and any other information related to the application of the Convention in practice.
