The Committee takes note of the Government’s first report with respect to the application of the Convention. The Committee notes that current legislation prohibits acts of anti-union discrimination and interference, and provides for sufficiently dissuasive sanctions. Collective agreements provide for facilities in favour of trade union representatives. In order to evaluate the manner in which legislation is applied in practice, the Committee requests the Government to indicate the number of existing collective agreements, the different kinds of facilities provided thereunder, the sectors covered and the number of workers to whom they apply.
