Fishermen's Competency Certificates Convention, 1966 (No. 125) - Djibouti (Ratification: 1978)

The Committee notes that the Government’s report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:

The Committee notes the information supplied by the Government, in particular the indication that Djibouti has, presently, only one vessel of 229.9 tons engaged in cabotage. Given the circumstances, the Committee considers it unnecessary to comment at this point on the application of the Convention in either law or practice.

The Committee asks the Government to keep it informed in future reports of any significant changes with regard to the application of this Convention.
