Average earnings and hours actually worked. Referring to its previous request, the Committee notes that statistics on the average hours paid for derive from the annual survey of the workforce and that data on the payroll in public industry has been published. It notes that the Ministry for Social Affairs and Labour is endeavouring to compile the required statistics. In this regard, the Committee has been informed of a planned survey of enterprises that should allow for the compilation of, amongst other data, statistics on average earnings and hours actually worked. It asks the Government to describe any progress made with a view to the compilation, publication and transmission to the ILO of statistics on average earnings and hours actually worked, in accordance with Articles 5, 8 and 12 of the Convention.
