The Committee notes that the Government's report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:

In its previous comments, the Committee requested the Government to supply statistics concerning cases of morbidity and mortality due to lead poisoning, in accordance with the report form under Article 7 of the Convention. In its latest report, the Government states that statistics concerning lead poisoning will be transmitted to the Office as soon as they are available. The Committee wishes to remind the Government that under this Article of the Convention, statistics with regard to lead poisoning among working painters should be established as to morbidity and mortality. The Committee therefore hopes that the Government will be able to supply these statistics with its next report.
