Employment Service Convention, 1948 (No. 88) - Tunisia (Ratification: 1968)

The Committee notes that the Government has still not forwarded to the ILO the information it referred to in its report on the application of the Convention for the period ending 30 June 1993. It hopes that this information will be provided as soon as possible so that the Committee may examine it. Please supply, in particular, all available statistical information on the number of public employment offices established, the number of applications for employment received, the number of vacancies notified and the number of persons placed in employment by such offices, in accordance with Part IV of the report form. Please also give a general appreciation of the manner in which the Convention is applied and information on any practical difficulties in the application of the Convention (Part VI of the report form).
