Allegations

The complainant alleges that the employer has: threatened and dismissed four trade union leaders for their trade union activities; refused to respect the award issued by the Arbitration Council in August 2004 for their reinstatement; refused to attend conciliation sessions organized by the Ministry; and changed its corporate name and transferred all its labour contracts to the new entity. The complainant also alleges that two labour inspectors from the Ministry of Social Affairs intervened in favour of the establishment of another union under the influence of the employer
