Labour Statistics Convention, 1985 (No. 160) - Ukraine (RATIFICATION: 1991)

Article 9(2) of the Convention. Compilation of statistics on time rates of wages and normal hours of work. The Committee notes that the information provided by the Government does not reply to its previous comments. The Committee once again requests the Government to indicate whether it envisages steps to carry out a survey collecting time rates of wages and normal hours of work covering important occupations or groups of occupations in important branches of economic activity.

The Committee draws the attention of the Government to Resolution I[1] concerning the measurement of working time adopted by the 18th International Conference of Labour Statistics in November–December 2008, which defines new concepts and measures in this area of statistics.

Article 16. Acceptance of obligations. The Committee notes the information supplied on Articles 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 under Article 16. The Committee once again invites the Government to consider the possibility of accepting the obligations deriving from these Articles.

Part V of the report form. The Committee once again requests the Government to indicate the representatives of employers and workers to which copies of any reports on the application of the Convention have been sent in accordance with article 23, paragraph 2, of the ILO Constitution. Please indicate whether the reports have given rise to any comments from such organizations.
