The Committee notes that, in its first report, the Government indicates that there are no provisions concerning the protection against acts of antiunion discrimination and interference against “established” civil servants (those servants governed by the Civil Service Act, including teachers, nurses and air traffic controllers) and their organizations. The Committee requests the Government to take the necessary measures in order to grant civil servants and their organizations sufficient protection against antiunion discrimination and interference.
Moreover, the Committee requests the Government to provide information on cases concerning anti-union discrimination (especially with respect to procedures and sanctions imposed) and examples of collective agreements signed in the public sector and the facilities established thereunder.
