Holidays with Pay (Agriculture) Convention, 1952 (No. 101) - Antigua and Barbuda (RATIFICATION: 1983)

The Committee notes the Government’s report. It understands that the Labour Code (Cap. 27) of 1975, as amended, sections C18 and C20 of which give effect to this Convention, is currently under review. It requests the Government to keep it informed of any further developments in this regard, in particular as regards workers’ entitlement to annual leave.

Part V of the report form. The Committee would be grateful if the Government would provide general information on the manner in which the Convention is applied in practice, including, for instance, information on the number of workers covered by the relevant legislation, copies of any collective agreements containing specific clauses on paid annual leave, extracts from the reports of the labour inspection services showing the number of contraventions reported in the agricultural sector and sanctions imposed, etc.
