Convention concerning Statistics of Wages and Hours of Work, 1938 (No. 63) - Myanmar (RATIFICATION: 1961)

The Committee notes that the Government's report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:

Article 1(b) of the Convention. The Committee notes from the Government's report that the data on average earnings and hours actually worked, are published in the People's Workers' Gazette, as well as the index numbers showing the general movement of earnings of regular workers, which have been communicated for the periods 1975-79 and 1978-83. It hopes that the Government will continue to endeavour to publish these data within the time-limits provided for in this Article.
