Submission. The Committee notes that the Government has once again provided no response to its previous comments. It recalls that the constitutional obligation of submission is of the highest importance and is a fundamental element of the standards system of the ILO. The Committee recalls once more the information provided by the Government in May 2017 indicating that the Forced Labour (Supplementary Measures) Recommendation, 2014 (No. 203), adopted by the Conference at its 103rd Session, as well as the Transition from the Informal to the Formal Economy Recommendation, 2015 (No. 204), adopted by the Conference at its 104th Session, were submitted to the Council of Ministers. The Government indicated that these instruments were to be submitted to the Shura Council (Majlis Ash-Shura), as per the procedures followed by the Council of Ministers. The Committee once again urges the Government to specify the date of submission to the Shura Council (Majlis Ash-Shura) of the instruments adopted by the Conference at its 103rd and 104th Sessions. In addition, the Committee once again requests the Government to provide information on the submission to the Shura Council of the Employment and Decent Work for Peace and Resilience Recommendation, 2017 (No. 205), adopted by the Conference at its 106th Session, and the Violence and Harassment Convention (No. 190) and Recommendation (No. 206), 2019, adopted by the Conference at its 108th Session. The Committee trusts that the Government will provide the information requested without further delay.
