Convention concerning Statistics of Wages and Hours of Work, 1938 (No. 63) - Djibouti (RATIFICATION: 1978)

The Committee notes that the information documents and statistical data on job applicants, hiring and foreign workers collected by the National Employment Service, which the Government indicates were attached as an annex to its brief report received by the ILO in October 2005, have still not been received. The Committee asks the Government to supply the information and data requested in its previous comments and to keep the ILO informed of progress in establishing an observatory on employment and training; stating in particular whether it is envisaged to include statistics on wages and working hours in the project covered by the observatory and indicating any difficulties encountered in this regard.
