Repeals the Law of Ukraine on Employers' Organizations.

Decree No. 1258 of 17 November 1998 on the National Service of Mediation and Conciliation. -

The main tasks of the Service shall include promotion of the interaction of the parties of social and labour relations in the process of the settlement of collective labour disputes which have arisen between them, forecasting collective labour disputes and promoting their timely settlement, and providing intermediary and conciliatory services in the course of the settlement of collective labour disputes.

Defines the concept of "collective labour dispute" and identifies the parties to the disputes. Provides for the means of examination and settlement of the dispute (conciliation commission, independent arbitration, labour arbitration). Other provisions relate to the rights and obligations of the parties to the dispute, the national service of conciliation and arbitration, and strikes (inter alia, right to strike, guarantees to workers during a strike).
