For students who are members of an unemployment fund and who fulfill the requirements for receiving benefits in the event of unemployment, or have received benefits from an unemployment fund for the maximum amount of days for which such benefits are payable, adult students' allowance shall be payable in accordance with sections 7a, 7b, 7c and 8b.

Daily allowance (minimum 338 SEK) is payable to a participant of a training course at the same rate as the participant is or should have been entitled to if receiving allowance for full-time unemployment from an unemployment fund. This applies if the person fulfills the requirements for receiving allowance from an unemployment fund during unemployment or has received allowance from such fund during the period allowance is payable. Daily allowance (338 SEK) is also payable to a person who is not entitled to allowance under paragraph 1, if the person has reached the age of 20 years old, or has custody or an obligation to pay maintenance for a child.
