Education (Amendment) Act. No. 21. Adoption: 1990-08-06 | Date of entry into force: 1990-08-13 | BRB-1990-L-20558 Amends the Education Act by inserting definitions of "senior school" (remedial and prevocational education for pupils of secondary-school age), "adult education" (continuing education and training activities organised on a part-time basis) and pre-primary, primary, secondary, special and tertiary education, and by making various provisions relating to the operation of the educational system and the functions of school attendance officers.

Adoption: 1987-07-23 | BRB-1987-L-3850 Amends ss. 2, 6, 7 to 12G, 14, 15 and 29 of, and the Second Schedule to, the Occupational Training Act 1979 (Cap. 42) in regard to funding, financial matters, contributions and penalties. Under s. 15 as amended, an employer shall, before employing an apprentice or trainee under 18 years of age, obtain a medical certificate attesting to his or her fitness for the occupation in which training is sought. Revokes the Occupational Training (National Training Fund Contribution) Order 1985.
