Provisions of the Civil Code are to apply to the contract, as are the provisions of the Labour Law for the Private Sector. Contracts are to be made in Arabic with a translation to be made in English.

    Insère dans la loi du 3 juillet 1978 relative aux contrats de travail un titre VI intitulé "Le contrat d'occupation de travailleur à domicile", dont les dispositions sont applicables au travailleur à domicile qui, sous l'autorité de l'employeur, fournit un travail contre rémunération à son domicile ou à tout autre endroit qu'il a choisi, sans qu'il soit sous la surveillance ou le contrôle direct de cet employeur. Sont fixées les obligations de l'employeur, le contenu du contrat d'occupation du travailleur, les formalités en cas d'incapacité de travail suite à une maladie ou à un accident ainsi que les modalités de rémunération en cas de suspension de l'exécution du contrat (incapacité). Les dispositions de la loi du 16 mars 1971 sur le travail qui concernent le repos dominical et la durée du travail (chap. III, sections 1 et 2) ne sont pas applicables aux travailleurs à domicile. Prévoit enfin que le travailleur à domicile peut introduire par écrit auprès de son employeur une demande d'obtention d'un emploi au sein de l'entreprise dans les conditions fixées par la loi du 22 décembre 1989 (arts. 153, 154 et 156).
