    Declara que el descanso semanal de treinta y seis horas consecutivas dispuesto por el artículo 1 de la Ley núm. 12468, de 12 de diciembre de 1957, para el personal de los establecimientos gastronómicos (hoteles, restaurantes, fondas, confiterías y similares), deberá en todo caso comprender la jornada íntegra del día siguiente a haber cumplido la carga de cuarenta y cuatro horas semanales de labor. Dispone que el mismo régimen será de aplicación para el personal de la actividad hotelera en general y que el número mínimo de horas de descanso en las actividades referidas no será inferior a dieciséis horas por cada período de veinticuatro horas.

Trata en particular de las condiciones generales de los edificios y locales de trabajo, de las medidas preventivas especificadas ante riesgos laborales en instalaciones, máquinas y equipos, de las medidas preventivas específicas frente a los riesgos químicos, físicos, biológicos y ergonómicos, de los medios de protección personal, y contiene disposiciones especiales que prohíben en particular la exposición, venta, importación, arrendamiento, cesión a cualquier otro título o la utilización de máquinas que no estén provistas de dispositivos adecuados de protección según las previsiones del decreto.
