The employers is also to distribute service charges to a hotel worker pursuant to an agreement between the employer and the hotel worker.     Sets out the minimum wages to be paid to a shop worker in the Schedule to the Order. Provides that a shop worker shall work eight hours per day inclusive of one hour for lunch. A watchman is to be employed for twelve hours per day for a period of six days. The overtime wages, vacation, sick leave, and maternity leave of a shop assistant is set out in the schedule. An employer is to observe health and safety requirements by providing at least two yearly checks by a duly qualified medical practitioner at the expense of the employer to all food handlers. Repeals the Wages Regulation (Shop Assistants Workers) Order 2003 (No. 18 of 2003).

    This Notification, which does not apply to agricultural work or other work as prescribed by the Ministry of Interior, prescribes the minimum monetary daily wage and maximum daily work hours for certain classes of employment: seven hours per day in respect of work that might be harmful to the health or body of the worker, eight hours per day in respect of industrial or transportation work, and nine hours per day for commercial work.
