    Les dispositions modificatives des lois de 1937 et de 1970 concernent la durée obligatoire de repos par période de vingt-quatre heures. La modification de la loi de 1993 concerne la durée effective maximum du travail du salarié à temps partiel. Concernant la réglementation relative aux métiers de l'hôtellerie et de la restauration, cette loi contient notamment des dispositions relatives à la durée de travail journalière et hebdomadaire maximum normale; aux dérogations aux maxima journaliers et hebdomadaires; aux coupures de service (périodes de repos non rémunérées)ainsi qu'au travail de nuit et aux périodes d'activité réduite. Prévoit une date d'entrée en vigueur différente selon le nombre de salariés employés par l'entreprise.
