    La ley citada establece normas para la investigación realizada por la Inspección General del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social motivada en denuncias o situaciones de afectación a la libertad sindical, acoso moral o discriminación en el ámbito laboral. Dispone que cuando la inspección proceda a través de una diligencia inspectiva a interrogar personas que por su vinculación con los implicados sea laboral o de alguna otra índole, o puedan tener un conocimiento directo de los hechos denunciados, la misma se haga individualmente, en forma reservada, y sin identificar en el expediente los datos de los deponentes. Asimismo, dispone que sus datos sean relevados en un documento que integre el expediente y permanezca a resguardo de la Inspección por el plazo de cinco años, para el caso que sean solicitados por la justicia competente.

    El decreto citado determina que todo trabajador que desempeñe tareas utilizando como medio de transporte una motocicleta o cualquier bi-rodado impulsado por motor, deberá aprobar el curso de capacitación específico y contar con certificado de formación profesional expedido por la autoridad competente o entidad habilitada al efecto. Establece el 1º de enero de 2018 como fecha en que será exigible el certificado de formación profesional para todo trabajador que desempeñe tareas como repartidor de alimentos y productos farmacéuticos y delega en el Poder Ejecutivo la facultad de determinar la fecha en que será exigible el certificado de formación profesional para el resto de las ramas de la actividad.

    Provides for the inspection of enterprises. Chapter I prohibits the abuse of inspection and obstruction of inspections. Chapter II provides for the drawing up of inspection plans by competent monitoring agencies; Chapter III subsequently provides for the procedure of inspections. Inspections shall not last more than 30 days. Chapter IV sets out the rights and responsibilities of enterprises and inspection agencies. Enterprises shall have the right to refuse inspection pending a decision by a competent state agency.

Management committees shall also carry out investigations in cases of industrial accidents.
