    La ley citada modifica el Código del Trabajo, cuyo texto refundido, coordinado y sistematizado fue fijado por el decreto con fuerza de ley Nº 1, de 2002, del Ministerio del Trabajo y Previsión
    Social, a los fines de adecuarlo al Convenio sobre el Trabajo Marítimo de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo, 2006. En tal sentido, reemplaza el artículo 103, sobre las cláusulas que deberá contener el contrato de embarco y modifica los artículos 106 y 115, en este último especificando la obligación de llevar un ejemplar en lengua inglesa del cuadro regulador en el caso de naves que realicen viajes entre puertos nacionales e internacionales. También modifica el artículo 116, sobre el descanso mínimo de los trabajadores, y el artículo 128, sobre el pago de las remuneraciones.
