| Résumé/Citation: | Introduces the following 10 chapters concerning work with genetically modified organisms and laboratories, laboratory areas, scaling-up attempts, production, and the role of the Danish Working Environment Authority: Chapter 1: Scope and content. Chapter 2: Assessment of safety and health prior to starting work. Chapter 3: Classification of laboratories, plants for production and scaling up. Chapter 4: Notification and approval of research projects and other laboratory projects. Chapter 5: Notification and approval of attempts to scale up and production. Chapter 6: Substitution of donors with less dangerous alternatives. Chapter 7: General provisions. Chapter 8-10: Dispensations, complaints, penalties, entry into force and transitional provisions. Contains five annexes on techniques for genetic modifications, classification of laboratories, evaluation of biological systems, notification and approval of projects. |
