Résumé/Citation: Regulates minimum safety and health requirements for workplaces. It specifies the duties of employers to safeguard occupational safety and health in workplace. The Ordinance incorporates into Slovak legal system the Directive of the European Council 89/654/EEC of 30 November 1989 on minimum safety and health requirements for the workplace. Annex 1 lists in detail the requirements for safety and health protection for the workplace that shall be implemented from the time of entry into force of the Ordinance. Annex 2 lists in detail the requirements for safety and health protection for the workplace that shall be implemented before the time of entry into force of the Ordinance
