Inserts new sections 13A to 13C into the principal Act. Section 13A deals with child trafficking. Any person who wilfully recruits, transports, transfers, harbours or receives a child for the purpose of exploitation (including for prostitution, forced labour, slavery servitude or removal of organs) is guilty of an offence under the Act. It also deals with trafficking between Mauritius and another country. All documents concerning the identity of the victim are not to be published in the press. A person convicted of an offence under this section is liable to 15 years imprisonment. Section 13B deals with the abandonment of a child and section 13C deals with abduction.
