Extends applicability of Labour Code to employees from EU Member States sent to work with an employer on Slovak territory. Contains numerous amendments regarding, inter alia, the right to strike and lock-out (cl. 10), discrimination (direct and indirect), fixed term employment, reduced working time, temporary assignments and termination of employment (consultation of employee's representative on the decision of dismissal). Supplements the provisions on working time, rest periods, paid leave and average salary. Also amends provisions on works councils (elections, mandate, etc.).
