Résumé/Citation: Adjusts national regulations in order to bring them in line with international standards. Implements several directives of the European community concerning the maritime sector. Introduces the new Security at Sea Investigation Act, containing provisions related to Convention 147, Article 2, paragraph g, and amends the Federal Responsibilities in the Field of Maritime Shipping Act.
