Makes provision for disclosure rules so as to enable policyholders to make informed decisions with regard to short-term insurance products, and to ensure that the parties involved conduct business fairly and with due care and diligence. Individual sections deal with rules on disclosure, rules on void provisions and format, special arrangements relating to Lloyd's, and special provisions regarding marketing of products.
