| Résumé/Citation: | Inter alia, amends the Insolvency Act 1936 to stipulate that any balance of free funds of a bankrupt enterprise shall be applied to pay any wages, amounts due in respect of leave, or severance pay due to any employee for a period not to exceed three months. Also makes amendments to the Supreme Court Act 1959, the Criminal Procedure Act 1977, the Attorneys Act, 1979, the Co-operatives Act, 1981, the Magistrates Act, 1993, the Special Investigating Units and Special Tribunals Act, 1996, and the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998. |
