| Résumé/Citation: | Provides for clothing, shelter, food and stipends for persons who are applying for asylum. S. 5 provides for employment opportunities for asylum seekers within the framework of asylum facilities, to be paid at an hourly rate of 2DM. Those capable of work who do not accept employment on reasonable grounds shall be subject to a reduction in benefits. Asylum seekers with personal assets shall use these up before being entitled to benefits. This is an official revision of the original Act of 1993. |
