| Résumé/Citation: | Introduces mainly a revised Chapter 10 (young persons under 18). S. 59 (scope of application), s. 60(1) (general obligation or ensure that employment of young persons under 18 does not affect their health, schooling or other training), s. 60(2) (minimum age 15/fulfilling compulsory education), s. 60(3) (rules on higher minima for certain types of work to be issued), s. 60(4-5) (rules on possible exemptions of minima in ss. 60(2-3) for short term work within family, including in agriculture to be issued), s. 60(6) (rules concerning light work for young persons over 13/14; possible exemptions for work of artistic nature), s. 60(7) (notification of parents), s. 60(8) (other notifications), s. 60 (working time limits, prohibition against overtime, coordination with school time, required breaks, night work), s. 62 (daily and weekly maxima and possible exceptions thereto), 62a (possible exceptions from certain prohibitions for young persons no longer in school.) Gives effect to Community Directive No. 94/33/EC of 22 June 1994. Most recent codification of the Act in Notification No. 184 of 22 March 1995. |
