Second Region

Provides that persons above the age of 25 are entitled to leave to participate in recognized training. Persons who have children up to the age of eight are eligible for leave to take care of their children for a minimum of 13 weeks and a maximum of 52 weeks (26 weeks for each parent). A prerequisite is that the parent is entitled to daily cash benefits in the event of sickness, confinement and adoption. Also provisions on sabbatical leave.
