Amends the Occupational Diseases in Mines and Works Act, 1973 by abolishing all provisions which differentiate between persons on the ground of their sex or population group; by changing the definition of risk; by making the possession of a certificate of fitness by all persons performing risk work in controlled mines and works compulsory; and by changing the basis on which benefits are calculated and provides for related matters. |
