Résumé/Citation: |
Regulates labour relations in the Public Service, including collective bargaining at central and departmental levels, the registration, recognition and admission of employee organisations and the prevention and settlement of disputes of a collective and individual nature between the State as employer, its employees and organisations. Provides for conciliation boards to resolve disputes with the employer regarding the rights of individual employees, and grants the right to strike to all employees other than those engaged in essential services. Interest disputes relating to employees involved in essential services shall be subject to compulsory arbitration if they cannot be settled through negotiations by the relevant parties. |
