| Résumé/Citation: | Amends the Aliens and Immigration Law in view of harmonizing the national legislation with case a', paragraph 1 of article 5 and paragraph 1 of article 7 of the Council Directive 2003/109/EU of 25 November 2003 concerning the status of third-country nationals who are long-term residents, as amended by European Parliament and Council Directive 2011/51/EU of 11 May 2011. It specifically amends paragraph c of 2nd phrase of article 18I by deleting the phrase "duration of effect of at least 18 months or open duration". |
